IMU's journey began in 1992 when it introduced Malaysia's first global medical partnership programme, allowing students to start the medical education locally before transferring to Partner Medical Schools abroad to complete their degree. As a multiple award-winning institution, we collaborate with 40 esteemed universities globally for 85 pathways. Today, we integrate human, animal and environmental health into a comprehensive “One Health” approach to expand the horizons of traditional healthcare education.
